In Canada, over 10,000 children live with cancer or its long term effects. Another 1,400 children begin the road to survivorship each year. It’s an exhausting journey that can displace many childhood joys.

Your participation in Tour For Kids raises awareness and funds for this extraordinary camp organization that helps these children and their families build confidence, courage and friendships. Staffed by health care professionals, volunteers and camp alumni, the camp provides tremendous emotional support coupled with medical attention. The single greatest miracle that this retreat provides is enabling children to escape the shadows of cancer treatment and feel the thrill of being just another kid.

The Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta is a coordinated, integrated community based organization designed to holistically bring together all the knowledge and resources needed by children with cancer and those who love and care for them. Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta specifically benefits children who are living with cancer and their families by providing programs and funding in three Project areas:
Camps & Community Outreach , Clinical Support and Pediatric Oncology Research.
